ISLAMABAD: Security in Islamabad was put on high alert after the Interior Ministry received a report from intelligence agencies warning that there is a fear of a bomb attack in the federal capital, Express News reported on Monday.
The intelligence agencies’ report said that the bomb can be a remote-controlled attack or a suicide attack.
After receiving the report, the interior minister ordered the Rangers, police, FC and other law enforcement agencies to stay on high alert. The minister ordered that aerial monitoring be done during Difa-e-Pakistan Council’s (DPC) long march in the capital.
Hidden cameras will also monitor the security situation.
